TennCare has been awarded a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to conduct a series of Community Forums, designed to solicit input on developing a new initiative referred to as: QuILTSS (Quality Improvement in Long-Term Services and Supports), and is a project to increase the quality of Long-Term Services and Supports provided to TennCare members. Details and additional information are in the attachment.
QuILTSS will help select ways to measure quality, and will be instrumental in developing guidelines used to implement a new way to pay for nursing home services and for some kinds of Home and Community Based Services.
The QuILTSS Consumer Session in the East Tennessee region will be held Tuesday, October 29 from 10:30 a.m. until Noon at the John T. O'Connor Senior Center in Knoxville, at 611 Winona Street, 37917
