Client Services: asssistance with medication for seizures; information and referral; support group; epilepsy camp for children; bike helmets to prevent head injury
Education/Awareness: free seizure first aid including causes, triggers, treatments, first aid, social issues. Targeted for any audience and for k-12; professionals such as teachers, school nurses, care givers, and others in the community who would like to know appropriate first aid
What We Do
The Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee (EFET) is a voluntary, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 1978 to meet the needs of people with epilepsy, their families, and concerned individuals by providing quality education, information, and support services.
EFET is an independent affiliate of the Epilespy Foundation National Office and a participating United Way agency.
