RCHEA Support Group

Homeschool support groups help provide parents and children with chances to make new friends. As you get to know others in our support group, you may find that you have lots more in common than just homeschooling. There is a chance that  both children and adults can make lifelong friends in their local support group. That alone is reason enough for joining! We believe in parents rights to educated their children in the way they see fit. We organize educational enrichment , dances , meetings ,yearbooks ,and prom for home education families.Our homeschool support group encourages relationships between all age groups. Because of this, homeschoolers are comfortable with and learn to get along with toddlers, adolescents, teens and even other adults and the elderly, all from varying levels on the socio-economic ladder. Socialization is just as important for children as academics are, and homeschool support groups provide a wonderful opportunity for socialization.

RCHEA is a support group that provides socialization and activites for families in Roane and surrounding counties. We organize and plan fieldtrips for children and their family to participate in. We also schedule events like Winter Ball and Prom. Tennessee is a wonderful place to homeschool. We are very blessed with natural wonders including Fort South West Point and the Historic Courthouse and other rich with historical sites.
