The Roane Alliance

The Roane Alliance is Roane County’s economic development organization representing the best Tennessee has to offer businesses, citizens and travelers, while bringing together municipalities and encouraging partnerships and collaborations.  

The Alliance is a cooperation between Industrial Development Board, Visitor's Bureau and the Chamber, working together to promote Roane County and make Roane County attractive to outsiders.  Each member organization operates with its own focus, identity, board of directors and operating budget, while working toward unified goals for increased prosperity and improved quality of living. 

The Roane Alliance is a comprehensive resource in anything and everything related to Roane County concerning small businesses, tourism and economic development.  This includes many programs such as the award-winning Education Matters program, promoting the alignment of K-12 education with local business; and Retire Roane, a program chosen by the state to partner in their Retire Tennessee program to recruit retirees to our county.
