Roane County UT Extension

4-H provides programs through in-school club meetings, school enrichment programs, after school project groups, judging teams, camp, and conferences. These activities allow children of every community, every economic bracket and every race and gender the opportunity to participate and succeed.  4-H includes over 40 projects in agriculture, home economics, leadership, citizenship, career awareness and healty lifestyles.

Family and Consumer Sciences programs are co-parenting, anger management, kindergraden readiness, general parenting and childcare provider training.

Agriculture programs are the Master Gardener's of Roane County and Beef Quality Assurance.

UT Extension serves the citizens of Roane County with educational programs in the areas of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, Community Resource Development, and 4-H Youth Development. We are an outreach branch of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, providing research-based solutions and information to the citizens of Tennessee.
