What We Do
The Roane County Children's Fund coordinates with teachers, school administrators, and counselors who set the process in motion once a need has been identified.
Founded in 1959 as a 501(c)(3) by the Roane County School System, all donations are used to assist students and families who struggle with obtaining school supplies, clothing, food, housing, medical needs, transportation, or utility assistance. The ultimate RCCF goal is to help meet the fundamental essentials of students in an attempt to reduce absenteeism and help them remain in school.
Donations can be made by check payable to the Roane County Children's Fund and mailed to Midtown Educational Center, 3096 Roane State Hwy, Harriman, TN 37748. You may also designate donations to the Roane County Children's Fund through your local United Way Workplace Campaign.
