Rockwood Ministerial Association

Who We Are

We run a food pantry that gives out free food to Rockwood residents in the community.  We offer some bill help on utilities & support other hunger fighting programs, like, Kids Cafe, Love Kitchen, & a school backpack program that sends kids home with a back pack filled with food on the weekends.

What We Do

The Rockwood Ministerial Association (RMA) is an all-volunteer organization.

One hundred percent (100%) of donations go to support the ministry of the RMA.

Besides the food pantry, we also support other hunger-related services, including the Second Harvest Food for Kids program. Food for Kids sends each of Rockwood's most at-need children home with a backpack full of kid-friendly food to help make sure they are eating over the weekend.

We also give a donation to support the ministry of the Love Kitchen, a free meal that is offered at 5 PM on the second and last Saturday of every month in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church.

RMA also gives out Christmas baskets in December. This past year nearly 270 families received a Christmas basket filled with food. This year we will give out 285 Christmas baskets.

Besides food and financial help, the RMA is an ecumenical voice in the community. We work to create a community of support and oneness amongst the churches by coordinating many community services throughout the year.
