Who We Are

Since 1987 ADFAC has existed to support and serve those in need by assisting them in becoming stable and self-sufficient. ADFAC’s Vision is of sustainable, healthy, and viable communities where all families are self-sufficient, productive and free of the need for continued public assistance. ADFAC focuses on addressing the needs of the most vulnerable in our area by striving to provide a comprehensive scope of services with compassion: Short term assistance for basic needs; Affordable solutions for home rehabilitation, new construction and rental housing; Energy conservation; Children and youth education services; and Education via life coaching and/or referrals.

What We Do

We have 3 programs that serve residents of Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, and Roane counties. Our Household Assistance Program serves Anderson County residents with Utilities, rent, food and pantry items, referrals, and short-term coaching. Our Appalachian Housing Partners provides home repairs, new home construction, and homeownership education in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, and Roane counties. Our School Supplies Program provides brand new school supplies and backpacks for PreK-12 students in over 45 local schools in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, and Roane counties.
