Roane Imagination Library

The Roane Imagination Library mission is:

--to provide free, age appropriate books to all Roane County preschool children from birth to age 5;

--to instill in the children a love of books and reading;

--to help develop their brains and vocabulary; and

--to promote school readiness.

Imagination Library MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Since we began in August 2004, we have distributed almost 300,000 books to Roane County children.

Roane Imagination Library is an affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library -- the component that administers the literacy program for local children, including maintaining addresses and raising funds to pay for the books and postage.
